30 Paintings in 30 Days - Day 4

"Dragonfly Dominoes" LWatry©2014

I have finished my 4th painting for the 30 Paintings in 30 Days challenge. This one is a little bit of a departure for me. I decided that I really liked the idea that a dragonfly might be able to start a line of dominoes cascading down. So, I created this image.

I liked creating the dominoes and the reflections on the surface. I used a mix of Prussian blue and Pyrrol orange for my black.

This painting, Dragonfly Dominoes, is a 6"x6" watercolor.
